Always on time ~ 30x40 unframed oil
I had sunflowers on my mind since last summer and when spring hit, I started to feel ever so impatient. But without fail, they came in July. I picked a bunch on a farm in Antrim County. When I got home, I felt a tinge of disappointment as I realized I hadn’t picked any in full bloom. But how could I have forgotten? Even after being cut, they continue to bloom. In the morning, one that had been partially closed was entirely open, right in the center, staring at me as if to say - why were you so worried? All things happen in their own time. We never miss a thing that is meant for us.
This 30x40 still life is painted on a 3 inch cradled wood panel. It is painted in oils, some of which I made myself from french ochre pigments.
Allow 1-2 weeks for framing and shipping.
